Accommodation

Looking for understated luxury, a place to unwind, a base for outdoor adventures or a special wedding venue?

Here at Bluebell Croft we have the perfect rental to host family get-togethers or fun reunions. The properties are pet-friendly, eco-conscious, wheelchair accessible and each property has it’s own hot-tub- so look no further!

Find Bluebell Croft in the Strontian Glen, where woodland and mountain views never fail to delight. With a constantly changing scenic view from each window, and ever present birdsong, we have the perfect place to truly recharge your batteries.

Relaxing in the giant hot-tub, enjoying the company of family and friends, what better way to spend quality time?

Imagine the daylight fading, pouring your favourite drink, lighting the BBQ and watching the beauty of the evening sky unfold…

In the homely living areas you’ll love cosy nights by the wood burning stove, with plenty of super comfy sofas to curl up on. Lazy mornings, preparing the perfect cooked breakfast is a breeze in the well equipped kitchens, especially with delicious golden yoked free-range eggs available!

But if you don’t fancy cooking there are restaurants only a stroll away.

For the outdoor enthusiast walks, hiking, cycling, kayaking and fishing are on the doorstep with many other activities close by. Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Loch Ness and Mull are all within a day trips’ travel.

An abundance of nature awaits your discovery. With garden feeders always well stocked you’ll see all the usual garden favourites as well as some more unusual visitors. See our nature page for a full list of bird species seen on the croft. Lucky guests may even see the resident pine marten!

Children will love meeting the animals and may even want to help collect freshly laid eggs. We have hand raised several of our Castlemilk Moorit lambs who remain friendly and love meeting children.

The sun-room, let with Honeysuckle House, has plenty of toys, puzzles and games to keep young children occupied on rainy days, and Rose Cottage also has plenty to entertain. There is WiFi in both properties.

The ground floor is wheelchair accessible throughout. Wheel-in wet rooms with underfloor heating and mobility aids makes travel away from home that bit less stressful. Take a look at the access statement for more information.

Every effort is made to look after the environment both in the holiday homes and on the Croft. You are invited to help in this effort and we are happy to chat about how we do this.

To keep that ‘home away from home’ feel baked goods will be provided upon your arrival.

The properties are dog friendly, but as there are sheep and free-range poultry on the croft, your dog will need to be kept under control at all times.

Honeysuckle House has a fenced lower garden, and we are currently in the design process for a fenced garden for Rose Cottage (as of 2025).
